Meet our Project Analysts
Billy Najam
Billy is a Project Analyst in Mintz Levin’s Boston office. He graduated, cum laude, from Boston College after majoring in International Studies and concentrating in Political Science. He focused his studies on US foreign policy especially with regards to Europe and the Middle East.
During the fall of his junior year, Billy studied abroad at Carlos III University in Madrid, Spain. There he took all six of his courses in Spanish, concentrating on both European studies and Spanish art and history. Living with a traditional Spanish family, he experienced a full cultural immersion, vastly improved his Spanish language skills, and even learned to cook.
Billy has always had an interest in law, business, and politics and has tailored his work experience around those three areas. After his sophomore year Billy was intern to the CFO of Legacy Properties, LLC whom he assisted in securing financing for and managing resort development properties in Texas, Tennessee, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The following summer, he interned at Dutko Worldwide LLC, a public policy lobbying and consulting firm in DC. Working in the Global Advisors group under former senior advisors in the Clinton Administration – Sally Painter and Karen Tramontano – Billy helped to create and provide public policy and business solutions to international corporations and foreign governments.
Coming from a large, ethnic, Maronite-Lebanese family, Billy helped to found a chapter of the Maronite Young Adults (MYA) in his hometown of Danbury. The MYA mobilizes young adults in the area for various community service projects.
Billy has always been an avid Boston sports fan, and still loves to play baseball, basketball, and golf in his free time.
