The Project Analyst Program offers the opportunity to work in various practice areas including:
In the rapidly changing area of trade regulation, Analysts are involved in responses to Department of Justice investigations, summaries of client behavior and other research tasks.
Analysts work with local, national and international clients in the biotechnology, information technology and retail industries. They undertake responsibilities in every aspect of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and venture capital financings.
Analysts conduct extensive market research of the telecommunications industry, assist in the filing of briefs before federal and state regulatory agencies and monitor ongoing proceedings for national cable clients.
Analysts prepare client advisories, organize field-related seminars, and conduct research on issues such as privacy rights, affirmative action and wrongful discharge claims.
In servicing the firm's corporate environmental clients, Analysts are exposed to facility planning, permit issues associated with acquisitions and financing and litigation matters. Analysts provide support research in each of these fields.
Analysts gain exposure to integrations and expansions of prominent health care organizations. They research issues such as medical risk management and telemedicine, draft speeches and papers and coordinate field-related seminars.
In order to accommodate the increasingly international workforce, Analysts assist in the representation of corporate clients and individuals in immigration and nationality matters such as visa procurement and political asylum.
Analysts are introduced to all aspects of patent, trademark and copyright law, assist with the firm's work on licensing disputes, trade secrets and unfair competition and antitrust suits for domestic and international clients.
Extensive responsibilities are given to Analysts during every stage of the litigation process -- from discovery to trial -- including case background research, document support and assistance in the development of legal strategies.
As part of Mintz Levin's consulting affiliate, Analysts conduct industry research, create marketing materials, track media coverage and coordinate contact with key political, industry and media leaders.
Analysts perform research for prospective developments throughout the United States and assist developers, lenders and investors of commercial and residential properties.
