Jeremy A. Spector to moderate a panel at the Education Committee of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts Advanced Seminar on Health Care

Jeremy A. Spector, a member in the firm’s New York office who practices in the Public Finance Section, is scheduled to moderate a panel on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at the Education Committee of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts Advanced Seminar on Health Care.
The panel discussion, which is titled "IRS: A New ERA of Oversight," will address the new Internal Revenue Service reporting requirements, what borrowers need to do to be compliant, and what analysts need to know about the implications of these new rules, both in terms of potential risks associated with borrowers flagging potential tax problems and opportunities for increased access to disclosure concerning the status of outstanding tax exempt obligations through this new IRS reporting system.
