Linda D. Bentley to speak at a MassMEDIC seminar

On Friday, January 23, 2009, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in Boston, Linda D. Bentley, a member in the Corporate practice and Life Sciences practice group, will speak at a Massachusetts Medical Industry Council (MassMEDIC) seminar titled, "Are You Ready to Comply with Massachusetts' New Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Code of Conduct Law?" In particular, Bentley will address the topic of "The Voluntary Codes: AdvaMed, PhRMA, AMA & the OIG."
Overall this informational meeting will provide an overview of the proposed regulations; some analysis of what these new requirements could mean for medical device companies; an examination of the various codes of conduct now impacting medical device companies, including the AdvaMed, PhRMA, AMA codes and guidelines from the Office of the Inspector General; and a presentation on what companies can do now to comply with this new law.
