Symons, the chairman of the Communications Section, will speak on Thursday, February 5, 2009, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, at a webinar on "The Genachowski Era: What Will It Mean for Cable?" presented by CableFAX Daily. As one of several Federal Communications Commission (FCC) experts assembled at this event, Symons along with his colleagues will discuss President Obama's campaign pledge for universal broadband, what lies ahead for the FCC, and what these changes could mean for the cable industry.
