Steve Ganis to speak at SIFMA Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes Conference

On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, in New York City, Steve Ganis, who is of counsel in Mintz Levin's Litigation Section, will speak on a panel on "Dealing with Hedge Funds, Clearing Firms and Other Intermediaries" at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) 9th Annual Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes Conference.
The panel will explore a securities firm's obligations under its AML Program when dealing with intermediaries such as hedge funds, investment advisors and introducing brokers, and the issues faced by global firms as they operate in multiple regulatory regimes with disparate requirements.
