Thomas S. Crane to speak at the American Health Lawyers Association's Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues

On Wednesday, March 25, from 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm, in Baltimore, Maryland, Thomas S. Crane, a member in the Health Law Section and co-coordinator of the Health Care Fraud and Abuse and Corporate Compliance practice groups, will speak on "Self-Disclosure of Overpayments and Violations of Health Care Laws" at the Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues, presented by the American Health Lawyers Association.
This session will examine topics that include repayment authorities under Medicare and Medicaid; when disclosure is not voluntary, such as the new government contracting disclosure requirements; and which agency to report a voluntary disclosure/repayment to and what to report.
