Mintz Levin to present a program on "Real Estate Issues during a Recession"

On Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 7:30 am to 9:45 am, in Boston, Mintz Levin will present a program on "Real Estate Issues during a Recession." This program will feature presentations by Daniel S. Bleck, a member in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Commercial Law Section; Scott C. Ford, a member in the Litigation Section; Daniel O. Gaquin, a member in the Real Estate Section; and Kurt R. Steinkrauss, a member in the Private Client Section.
Bleck will examine the legal strategies and options involved in workout scenarios of troubled real estate financings. Ford will then discuss tips for landlords and tenants looking to establish the right leverage in lease workouts. Gaquin will follow and explain the legal issues involved in acquiring distressed debt. Steinkrauss will serve as the program's moderator.
