On Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Washington, D.C., Peggy Elkind, a business development executive who works with Mintz Levin's Energy and Clean Technology and Venture Capital practice groups, will judge the 2009 Mid-Atlantic Business Plan Competition, presented by MIT Enterprise Forum of Washington-Baltimore.
As a judge, Elkind will act as a venture capital investor and decide which business ventures she would most likely fund. The quality of the idea, the strength of the management team, and the clarity and persuasiveness of the written plan and oral presentation will all serve as criteria for her decisions.
