On Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19, 2009, in Washington, D.C., Alden J. Bianchi and Donald W. Schroeder, both members in the Employment, Labor and Benefits Section, will speak at the 2009 Contingent Workforce Strategies Co-Employment and Risk Forum.
As part of a moderated discussion on Thursday, Bianchi will speak on "Microsoft Inoculation: What To Do with Your Employee Benefit Plans." On Friday, he will speak on "Your Benefits Plans: The Real Key To Solving Your Co-Employment Problem," which will specifically examine how to "inoculate" stock options and other benefits plans from co-employment-related risk.
On Friday, Bianchi and Schroeder will sit on a panel on "Microsoft, FedEx and Beyond: Are You Safe from Generation 2.0 Big Ticket Litigation?" and discuss landmark employment cases and how they have significantly impacted the risks involved in using contingent workers.
