On Monday, October 5, 2009, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m., Joseph R. Dunn, an associate in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Commercial Law Section, will serve on the panel for “Ready, Set, Now Start Your Engines,” a program on the recent auto-maker bankruptcy cases, at the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum. This brown bag lunch presentation will detail the government’s role in the filings, creditor constituencies and additional committee appointments, disparate treatment of similarly situated creditors, precedential value from these cases, and the potential for effective appeals.
