Mintz Levin To Co-Sponsor AdvaMed 2009

On Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14, 2009, Mintz Levin will co-sponsor AdvaMed 2009, a leading annual medtech conference. On October 13, from 4:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m., Richard G. Gervase, Jr., a member in the Intellectual Property Section, will chair the “Recent Developments in U.S. and European Patent Law” panel, discussing recent and anticipated changes in U.S. and European patent law and the effect these changes will have on medtech companies. On October 14, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m., Linda D. Bentley, a member in the Corporate practice, will chair the “Diagnostics—The Wave of the Future” panel, discussing the clinical, regulatory, and business issues associated with in vitro diagnostic technologies and personalized medicine.
