On January 29, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., John M. Delehanty, a member in the Intellectual Property Section, will present “Do Attorneys Have an Ethical Obligation to Discuss ADR with Their Clients Under the Disciplinary/Ethical Rules and When Do They Have to Do It” at the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s 2010 Mid-Winter Institute. The presentation will detail the ethical dilemmas that may be lurking in an arbitration/mediation.
On the same day at the same conference, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Susan Neuberger Weller, a member in the Intellectual Property Section, will moderate “Leveraging Value from Marks and Copyrights,” a discussion panel detailing creative approaches to increasing and protecting the value of IP assets.
