Export Regulatory Compliance Certificate Series at Mintz Levin's Boston Office

In today's stringent national security landscape, U.S. export controls have been imposed and enforced more strongly than ever.  All U.S. exporters must be familiar and comply with federal export control laws.  Mintz Levin is co-sponsoring and hosting an intensive, four-part Export Regulatory Compliance Certificate series, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Export Center, designed to provide participants with a working understanding of the export regulations and the tools they need to comply with these regulations.  Cynthia Larose, a member in Mintz Levin's Business and Finance Section, will present at each of the four programs.  Additional speakers include Paul DiVecchio, Managing Partner of DiVecchio and Associates and, at the first session, William Higgins, a Special Agent of the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security.

The series will cover the following topics:

· Introduction to Export Regulations . Wednesday, October 27, 2004

· ECCN Classification and Export Licensing Requirements . Wednesday, November 3, 2004

· Complying with the New Census Report Regulations . Wednesday, November 10, 2004

· Developing an Export Management System . Wednesday, November 17, 2004
