William Kannel will be presenting on “Pensions and Unions: the Shifting Tide for Public Workers and Implications for Municipal Credit Pension” at The National Federation of Municipal Analysts seminar, The New Era of Austerity and Implications for Municipalities, held at the Hilton Austin.  Panelists will discuss the future of public sector unions, pension reform, and the how each will impact municipal credit quality. Additional topics to include, pension reform and if it will be limited to cost-of-living adjustments or if benefits will be reduced and what influence funding levels, investment returns and new GASB rules will have.
