Consumer Product Safety Commission
Our Federal Regulatory group is one of the small number of leading practitioners specialized in representation of companies and industry groups before the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), which has wide jurisdiction over every consumer product sold in the U.S.
We have represented over 20 individual companies in compliance matters and have been engaged in assisting the development of corrective actions or recall plans for large and small companies and for products ranging from fitness equipment to textiles to appliances. We also work closely with the commissioners of the CPSC and the senior staff on individual regulatory issues as well as the important nexus between private standards organizations and the CPSC.
We have represented the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers on CPSC matters for 20 years and serve as a member of the National Association of Manufacturers CPSC Task Force.
