Trademark and Copyright

Mintz Levin attorneys can provide registration services for both trademarks and copyrights both domestically and internationally. Our practice includes attorneys and specially trained paralegals with extensive experience in all aspects of trademark and copyright law in the U.S. and abroad, including searching and clearance of trademarks, registration of copyrights, prosecuting and registration of trademarks, and handling oppositions and cancellations worldwide.

We regularly monitor the Trademark Official Gazette to review new published trademarks that potentially conflict with trademarks of our clients. Opposition proceeding may be instituted if a conflicting trademark is discovered. Arrangements can also be made to monitor the popular press for unauthorized uses of a client's trademarks as well as worldwide publication of trademarks.

Mintz Levin attorneys are also well versed in international trademark and copyright practice and can oversee management of worldwide trademark and copyright portfolios, develop branding strategies to meet client goals, and coordinate opposition and cancellation disputes on a global basis. Our attorneys work closely with leading practitioners all over the globe to secure trademark and copyright protection in nearly every country.
