FTC Is Scrutinizing Amazon's $1.7B Takeover Of iRobot. What Happens Next?
Mergers & Acquisitions Chair Dean Zioze spoke to The Boston Business Journal about Amazon's takeover of iRobot, and the additional scrutiny that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is placing on the transaction. Dean commented on what may happen as the acquisition unfolds and said, "What's interesting here is there's no apparent market overlap... The current FTC is very focused on the sheer size and influence of Big Tech companies."
