Raymond D. Cotton to Speak at American Council on Education Conference Entitled: “Advancing to the Presidency”

Raymond D. Cotton, Vice President of Higher Education of ML Strategies, LLC and a Member of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is speaking at the American Council on Education’s (ACE) 2013 “Advancing to the Presidency” conference.  The conference is being held October 10-11 in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Cotton’s speech is entitled “Reaching an Agreement: Making the Right Choice and Negotiating that Contract.”  He will be addressing both compensation and legal issues that are part of every university president’s employment contract.

The annual ACE “Advancing to the Presidency” conference is designed specifically for senior college and university administrators (typically Dean level or above) who will be seeking a presidency within the next 2 years.

Mr. Cotton is a frequent speaker on the programs of higher education associations. He is also a regular contributor to the Chronicle of Higher Education.  He was listed in the 2012 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business for Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation in Washington, DC.  Mr. Cotton was also named to the 2013 list of Best Lawyers in America for Education Law.
