In recent years US clean energy/clean tech companies have continued to expand operations in China, even while facing a challenging environment in the United States. This movement into China is generally accomplished through joint ventures with, or minority investments from, Chinese firms seemingly at the cost of US operations. Additionally, US firms have benefited from incentives from the Chinese government. This panel will cover these developments and their repercussions for the clean energy/clean tech space in the Boston area.
