Mark Riedy will moderate the panel, "Financing Strategies for Advanced Biorefineries," at the U.S. Department of Energy's fifth annual conference, Biomass 2012: Confronting Challenges, Creating Opportunities – Sustaining a Commitment to Bioenergy, at the Washington, D.C. This breakout session will discuss both domestic and international opportunities for commercial-scale biorefineries. As these projects are characterized by risks in feedstock, technology, and product off-take agreements, this session will discuss strategies to overcome financial challenges.
