Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. announced that Karen Lovitch has been named a 2007 Outstanding Young Healthcare Lawyer by Nightingale's Healthcare News, a monthly healthcare industry publication.
Ms. Lovitch, a Member in the firm's Washington, D.C. office practicing in the Health Law Section, was acknowledged for her outstanding work on various complex compliance, reimbursement, transactional and fraud and abuse matters for clients including, a publicly traded dialysis services company, and the country's largest provider of retail healthcare.

In addition to her healthcare practice, Ms. Lovitch serves as Chair of the Hiring Committee for Mintz Levin's D.C. office and as a Member of the firm-wide Diversity Committee. Ms. Lovitch is also an active member in the D.C. Bar's Health Law Section, where she serves on the Programs and Education Committee and Community Service Committee.
