Boston, MA - Robert M. Delahunt, an attorney with vast experience as both a white collar criminal defense attorney and prior to entering private practice, over ten years as a state prosecutor, has joined Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. as a Member in the firm's litigation practice. Mr. Delahunt, who joins Mintz Levin from Eckert Seaman Cherin & Mellott, LLC, will practice in the firm's Boston office.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Mr. Delahunt's practice focused on federal criminal defense and civil litigation. He has represented a number of corporate officers and employees facing federal investigations involving allegations of fraud and corporate malfeasance.
From 1990 through 1998, Mr. Delahunt served as the state prosecutor for the Norfolk Country District Attorney's Office serving as its Director of Civil Rights for most of that time. There he prosecuted major criminal civil rights violations and a number of major felonies. In 1999, Mr. Delahunt was appointed Special Prosecutor in the case of the murder of Assistant Attorney General Paul McLaughlin. Before going into private practice in 2001, Mr. Delahunt served as the Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County, the most populace of Massachusetts' fourteen counties.

Mr. Delahunt is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. He received his B.A. from Colby College and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
