Mintz Levin Advises SkyePharma PLC in Refinancing of Convertible Bonds

London, England - Attorneys with Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo Intellectual Property, LLP served as special legal counsel to SkyePharma PLC in connection with its recent Placing and Open Offer of 1,401,780,736 New Ordinary Shares to raise £18.4 million (net of expenses) and a Share Capital Reorganisation.
Skyepharma is a long standing client of the firm's IP practice in London headed by Julian Crump. The IP and corporate teams combined to provide expert patent advice to SkyePharma in connection with the offering arrangements to refinance their convertible bonds. SkyePharma is listed on the Official List of the London Stock Exchange. This is the first multidisciplinary instruction of this kind since the launch of the firm's Corporate Practice in London.
