Los Angeles, CA – Donald Urrabazo, formerly a Partner and Head of West Coast Litigation at Fox Rothschild LLP, has joined the Los Angeles office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., expanding the firm’s west coast presence and its national litigation practice.

Throughout his career, Mr. Urrabazo has specialized in litigation on behalf of a wide range of clients in various industries, including telecommunications, technology, securities and media. He has handled matters relating to contract and commercial disputes, class action defense, copyright and trademark claims, misappropriation of trade secrets, privacy issues and internal corporate investigations at all levels of state and federal courts throughout the United States, including the United States Supreme Court. The numerous aspects of securities litigation that Mr. Urrabazo has handled include shareholder derivative actions, private securities disputes and defense of actions filed by the SEC.
Mr. Urrabazo graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University and received his law degree from Stanford Law School. Mr. Urrabazo co-chaired the national convention of the Hispanic Bar Association in Los Angeles last September and he has taught political science at his alma mater, Santa Clara University. He is admitted to practice law in California and in the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of The Hispanic National Bar Association, having served as Vice-Chair of their annual convention in 2008. In addition, he is a member of The Mexican American Bar Association and The Los Angeles County Bar Association.
