Robert J. Glovsky Named to Barron's List of the Top 100 Independent Investment Advisors for Third Straight Year

Boston, MA - Robert J. Glovsky, President of Mintz Levin Financial Advisors (MLFA), LLC, has been named to Barron's list of the nation's top 100 independent investment advisors, for the third consecutive year.  According to Barron's, the list is compiled based on assets under management, revenues the advisors generate for their firms and the quality of their practices.1 

A practicing financial planner for over 25 years, Mr. Glovsky has broad-based experience in individual tax planning and money management. He currently serves as Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors of the Certified Financial Planners Boards of Standards, and will serve as Chair in 2010.  He is the Director of Boston University's Program for Financial Planners, the largest CFP Board-Registered Program in New England and one of the largest in the country, and is past Chair of CFP Board's Board of Examiners (predecessor to the Council on Examinations).

Mr. Glovsky has been recognized as one of the nation's leading financial advisors by Worth Magazine and in J.K. Lasser's “New Rules for Estate and Tax Planning” book.  He is a member of the Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services Advisor Council, and a former member of The Fidelity Research Institute's Advisory Council. Currently, Mr. Glovsky serves on the Board of Trustees of the B' Nai B'rith Sports Lodge.

Mr. Glovsky received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and both his J.D. and master's degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™  practitioner, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
