Mintz Levin Represents Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc. in Acquisition Of Lawson/Kronos Division of NaviSite, Inc.

New York, NY – A cross-disciplinary team of attorneys from Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. represented Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc. in its acquisition of the Lawson and Kronos hosting business, formerly NetASPx Inc., from NaviSite, Inc. for $56 million in cash.
In addition to advising Velocity on all aspects of the transaction including preparing and negotiating the acquisition documents, the debt agreements and the equity investment, the firm also assisted the company with restructuring of its internal capital structure and intellectual property agreements.
The Mintz Levin team was led by corporate members Ken Koch and Ivan Blumenthal, with assistance from associates Priya Agrawal, Chris Lhulier and Sarah Lowe.
