Mintz Levin Attorney Megan Gates Named to Board of Casa Myrna Vazquez

Boston, MA - Mintz Levin corporate attorney Megan Gates has been named to the Board of Directors of Casa Myrna Vazquez, one of Boston's leading non-profits working to end domestic violence in the lives of women and children.

As a Member of the firm and Co-Chair of the Securities Practice Group, Ms. Gates represents life sciences and technology companies in a variety of complex transactions, including public and private equity and debt financings and mergers and acquisitions. She also advises clients with respect to corporate governance and federal securities compliance issues.  Earlier this year, she was recognized by Women's Business Boston as one of the "Top 10 Corporate Lawyers" in the region.

In addition to her volunteer service with Casa Myrna Vazquez, Ms. Gates is a member of the Board of Directors of hopeFound, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness. She has also been part of Mintz Levin's award-winning pro bono program, recently assisting in achieving political asylum for one of the firm's pro bono clients.
