Fourth Consecutive Year Firm Ranks in Top Tier
New York, NY – Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. ranked among the top 10 firms in representing both issuers and placement agents in 2010 according to The PIPEs Report. The firm ranked 6th in law firms representing issuers in PIPES and 8th in law firms representing placement agents based on the number of placements advised. The value of placements in which Mintz Levin represented issuers totaled $169 million. The firm represented placement agents on nearly $33 million in placements.
Ken Koch, a member in the firm's New York corporate practice, was the lead attorney on a number of the transactions. In addition to more routine public and private financings, he has a particular expertise in developing and implementing unusual alternative public offering and acquisition structures. Mr. Koch is extremely active in international transactions, including counseling clients in recent acquisitions involving targets in Europe and South America, and financings for Greek, Chinese, Israeli, Korean, Brazilian and UK-based companies.
