Boston, MA – Stephen M. Weiner, a member and chair of the Health Law practice of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., will present a keynote address at the American College of Healthcare Executives of Massachusetts spring meeting, “Clinical Integration and Physician Alignment: ACOs and Successful Responses to Healthcare Payment Reform Initiatives.” The conference is being held on May 10 in Framingham, MA.
Mr. Weiner joins fellow keynote speakers Regina Herzlinger, Nancy R. McPherson Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School; and Marty Manning, Chief Executive at Advocate Physician Partners, who will share their experiences and success stories in meeting the challenges of clinical integration and responding to the changing payment system landscape as the cost of health care and health insurance continues to spiral upward, and federal health reform encourages the development of ACOs.
The reactor panel for the keynote speakers will include Jeanette Clough, President and CEO of Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, MA; Patrick Gilligan, Senior Vice President for Health Care Services, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts; Howard Grant, JD, MD, President and CEO of the Lahey Clinic; and Alice Tolbert Coombs, MD, President of the Massachusetts Medical Society.
