San Diego, CA – Edye Aranda Bauer, an attorney practicing in the Corporate and Securities Section of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., has been named to the Board of Directors of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Legal Education Fund.
The HNBA Legal Education Fund is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating educational programs and exposing underrepresented students and professionals to the benefits and opportunities in the legal profession. The organization also provides scholarships and financial support to individuals from underrepresented communities to pursue legal careers and supports the charitable and education mission of the Hispanic National Bar Association.
Ms. Bauer’s practice is focused on a full range of corporate and securities matters, including corporate formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, technology transfer and licensing and general business counseling. She has extensive experience counseling public and private companies in various industries, including life science, medical device, software, telecommunications, health care, clean technology, social media and information technology.
Ms. Bauer is also a member of the California Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, in addition to the Hispanic National Bar Association. She is involved in Athena San Diego, the CONNECT – Springboard Program, La Raza Lawyers Association, Lawyers Club and Women of Color in Law, Inc.
