Boston, MA – Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. is hosting an event entitled, “Successful ADR Strategies for Life Science Companies: What Young Lawyers Should Know” for the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR Institute). The event will take place at Mintz Levin’s Boston office on October 19 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm, with a networking cocktail reception to follow.
The event will cover a wide range of issues concerning the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in the life sciences industry. Among other topics, the panelists will discuss the pros and cons of using ADR to resolve disputes between collaboration, licensing and distribution partners, different ADR options available to life sciences companies and when those options are appropriate to use, and tips for drafting ADR clauses in contracts. The panelists will also share their own stories from the ADR trenches, and provide advice about how best to navigate the ADR process.
