San Diego, CA -- Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., a full-service, 450-lawyer AmLaw 100 firm with offices throughout the U.S. and in the U.K., announced that Jeffry A. Davis, a veteran bankruptcy attorney, has joined the firm's San Diego office as a member, practicing in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Commercial Law Section.
Prior to joining Mintz Levin, Mr. Davis was a partner at DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary. Over the course of his career, he has focused on representing companies in connection with bankruptcy, loan workouts, insolvency and debtor and creditor rights. Mr. Davis has significant experience providing bankruptcy counsel to debtors, creditors and buyers in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, software, health care real estate and food service.

Mr. Davis, is admitted to practice in California and New York, the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California, the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Eastern District of New York. A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, he earned a law degree from Boston University.
Mr. Davis has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for the past nine consecutive years and is listed among San Diego Magazine's Best Lawyers in San Diego. He is also a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy and related issues for various professional and trade groups.
