Firm Employees Earn Top Rankings for Individual Contributions
Boston, MA - September 13, 2007 - Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. was recently named among the top corporate charitable givers in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal. One of only three law firms named to the list, the firm's charitable giving and the contributions of its employees were recognized at the second annual Corporate Philanthropy Summit held in Boston.

Mintz Levin has a long-standing commitment to charitable causes throughout Massachusetts. Participation comes in many forms from monetary contributions and community activities to pro bono legal services.
Recent initiatives include the Back to School Backpack Project, in which employees donated backpacks filled with school supplies for children living in local shelters; Citizen Schools Legal Apprenticeship Program and 8th Grade Academy writing coach program; holiday parties for Elizabeth Stone House residents; and a monthly Jeans Day to raise money for various local non-profit organizations.
