An
Employers’ Guide to the The Massachusetts health care reform act—Chapter 58 of the Mass. Acts of 2006, An Act Providing Access to Affordable, Quality, Accountable Health Care (as amended)—imposed new health insurance requirements on individuals, insurers and employers. In a series of client advisories we have endeavored to explain the Act’s impact on Massachusetts employers and multi-state employers with Massachusetts operations. We have consolidated and expanded upon our prior advice with: An Employers’ Guide to the 2006 Massachusetts Health Care Reform Act, available here. Regulatory guidance under the Act is not yet complete, so many of the details and particulars are not yet known. We intend to update this guide from time to time to reflect future developments. (Updates will be posted to the link referred to above.)
