Mintz advised the placement agent in connection with CalciMedica’s up to $49 million private placement. The private placement included (i) shares of common stock or pre-funded warrants to purchase shares of common stock, (ii) a right to receive Series A warrants and (iii) a right to receive Series B warrants. The Series A warrants and Series B warrants are issuable subject to stockholder approval.

Mintz served as health regulatory counsel to LucyRx, a technology-enabled pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), in its strategic combination with Abarca Health, creating a modern, independent PBM designed to serve commercial and government clients at scale.

Mintz advised the underwriters in connection with uniQure’s $259 million public offering of ordinary shares.

Mintz served as legal counsel to Innovius Capital Management in connection with its role as lead investor in the $46 million Series B financing of xCures, an Oakland-based digital health company developing AI-driven solutions for medical record acquisition and analysis.

Mintz advised the underwriters in connection with MoonLake Immunotherapeutics’ $200 million public offering of Class A ordinary shares.

Mintz will receive a 2026 Beacon of Justice Award from the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) in recognition of the firm’s efforts to protect democracy and civil society, marking the seventh consecutive year Mintz has been honored with this award.
