Patricia is an Associate in the firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice.

Patricia counsels clients on a wide variety of employee benefits and compensation matters, including federal and state health care reform, COBRA, mental health parity laws, 401(k), 403(b) and other retirement plans, and benefits-related aspects of corporate transactions.  In particular, Patricia represents clients in a broad range of audits and examinations initiated by government agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance (relating to Massachusetts health care reform).

In addition to her work here at Mintz Levin, Patricia has a broad base of employee benefits related experience.  Patricia has worked with the United States Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration investigating private sector employers and venture capital funds with respect to ERISA compliance.  She has practiced in the employee benefits departments of two prominent New York City law firms, working primarily on corporate transactions, structured finance and executive compensation.  Patricia also holds a MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health, and has collaborated with the Harvard School of Public Health on various health policy research projects. 

Patricia is a member of the American Bar Association and the Boston Downtown Women’s Club.  She serves on the Board of Directors of the Passim Folk Music and Cultural Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. 

Patricia is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts. She earned her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, her Master of Public Health from Harvard University, and her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Syracuse Law Review.
