Attorneys in our Public Finance Section are nationally recognized for their skill and experience in the area of securities law disclosure requirements as applied to the primary and secondary tax-exempt bond markets. Members of the section are published authors in the field and are regular panelists on securities law topics at National Association of Bond Lawyers seminars and other industry conferences. They frequently are consulted in developing industry proposals or comments on legislative or regulatory matters involving the securities laws. This area has become increasingly complex and technical in light of recent court decisions, Securities and Exchange Commission rules and enforcement actions, and scrutiny by market participants generally. Mintz Levin also is responsible for drafting and annually updating the securities law chapter of the National Association of Bond Lawyers Fundamentals of Municipal Bond Law textbook.
