Product Liability and Complex Tort Litigation

Mintz Levin represents and counsels product manufacturers in complex product-related matters, including the defense of personal injury cases that involve products, toxic exposures, and other claims. We represent clients in commercial warranty and contract litigation involving products and alleged product defects, including class actions. 

We make it our business to remain knowledgeable about our clients’ products and businesses, counseling them on labeling, dealing with the product liability implications of regulatory action, and educating their management, sales force, and surveillance groups on prevention issues.

We represent them before the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Food and Drug Administration, and other regulatory agencies. Working with insurance professionals, we also help clients understand their liability exposures and negotiate product liability and other insurance coverages to manage product-related and other liability risks.
