Isobel joined the patent profession in 2000 and Mintz Levin in 2009. Before joining Mintz Levin, she was a senior associate at another leading UK intellectual property law firm.

Isobel’s technical competence extends across a wide range of life science technologies, especially in the fields of biotechnology, biochemistry, and health care. She has gained considerable experience in the fields of dermatology, biomarkers and diagnostics, vaccines, cancer therapeutics, diabetes therapeutics, antibodies, stem cells, DNA sequencing technologies, and medical devices. She handles all aspects of patent practice, including drafting, prosecution, opposition, appeal work, and due diligence.

Isobel has extensive experience in handling complex portfolios of interrelated cases before the European Patent Office. She uses her in-depth legal knowledge and technical understanding to obtain the best protection for existing and developing products.

She is a European Patent Attorney (2004) and a UK Chartered Patent Attorney (2007).
