Ivan concentrates his practice in general corporate and transactional matters, with an emphasis on business development, licensing, and mergers and acquisitions for both closely held and public companies. 

He has extensive experience with negotiating stock and asset purchase agreements, employment and consulting contracts as well as stockholder, partnership, joint venture, and limited liability company agreements. Ivan regularly handles all aspects of corporate formation, license and distribution agreements, outsourcing, asset purchase, stock purchase and merger agreements, and other general corporate matters.

Ivan has counseled clients in a variety of industries, including biotechnology, consumer products, restaurants, fashion, electronics, financial services, health care, Internet services and e-commerce, software, and technology. He has also counseled numerous investment banking firms in connection with their representation of clients in mergers and acquisitions, private financings, and PIPE transactions. Ivan has developed a particular depth of knowledge in representing special purpose acquisition corporations (SPACs) and in reverse merger transactions involving public shell companies.

During law school, he was a member of St. John’s Law Review.
