Before law school, Tavis was a judicial intern for the Honorable Justice William P. Robinson III of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Tavis was a Summer Associate at Mintz Levin in 2006 and 2007.
During his final year of law school, Tavis interned for the Government Bureau of the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. There, he helped co-author a Supreme Judicial Court brief for a case in which the Commonwealth ultimately prevailed.
