Tavis’ practice focuses on corporate and securities law matters, including debt and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and securities compliance. Tavis was a Summer Associate at Mintz Levin in 2006 and 2007. During his final year of law school, Tavis interned for the Government Bureau of the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. There, he helped co-author a Supreme Judicial Court brief for a case in which the Commonwealth ultimately prevailed. Before joining Mintz Levin, Tavis was a judicial intern for a justice on the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
