Immigration Advisory: CIS Eliminates One-Year Limit on EAD Cards

On July 30, 2004, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services issued an Interim Rule in the Federal Register announcing that it was relaxing, and even in some cases, eliminating the one-year limit on the duration of Employment Authorization Documents (EADs, commonly referred to as work cards).
