The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (Nasdaq) will be phasing out the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB) and replacing it with the Bulletin Board Exchange (BBX) in the second quarter of 2003, pending approval by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Companies that do not transition to the BBX or any other listed market will continue to be traded on the OTCBB for six months after the launch of the BBX. At that time, market makers may choose to move their positions in these securities to the Pink Sheets.
