Health Care Article: New Incentives for States to Modify or Enact Whistleblower Laws

Written for the Legal Corner of Oncology Issues, November/December 2006 by Mintz Levin Health Care attorneys Marie C. Infante and Stephen R. Bentfield, this article discusses sections 6031 and 6032 of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, effective January 1, 2007 they'll provide greater financial incentives to states and citizens who use state whistleblower statutes modeled after the Federal False Claims Act.
