Employment Advisory: Hours Worked Under FLSA Held to Include Walking Time

In a unanimous decision by the Supreme Court, the definition of the "workweek" under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) has been expanded to include time employees spend walking between changing and production areas.
