The Interview Process

  • Here at Mintz Levin, we customize the interview process for each lateral to address his or her practice needs, timing, and circumstances. We require no set number of meetings or arbitrary steps.
  • Candidates meet with partners across the firm with shared clients, industry expertise, and complementary practices; practice leadership; Managing Partner; and administrative leadership – COO, CMO, Director of Recruiting.
  • We strive to make every meeting meaningful, identify synergies, and foster collaboration.
  • As part of the process, we ask that laterals complete our LPQ (Lateral Partner Questionnaire).
  • We maintain a streamlined and progressive approach to diligence, conflicts resolution, and offer approvals.
