Provide administrative and secretarial support to Firm’s legal staff.
Extensive client billing responsibilities – thoroughly understanding of the process, adherence to very strict protocols required by client and heavy editing of the invoices.
Draft, edit and proofread correspondence and documents.
Maintain calendar and schedule appointments.
Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and conferences.
Track, document and enter billable time.
Initiate communication and respond to client inquiries.
Process check requests and expense reports.
Perform general administrative tasks of filing, mailings, answering phone calls and greeting clients.
Working cooperatively with assigned legal staff and section-mates.
Maintain proficiency with office procedures and stay current with Firm technology.
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
2-5 years law firm experience preferably in corporate law.
High school diploma. College degree is required.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion.
Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability and logical thought process.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands and meet various deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

Working knowledge of law firm billing systems.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical.
Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
