The Data Management Specialist will provide application support for the firm’s document management system along with other database systems managed by the Database Applications Group. This position will report to the IT Database Applications Manager.
Link employee Outlook account folders to the document management system and follow a review process to confirm location and filing status of these messages.
Move folders in the document management system to a new location and update the metadata through a refiling process.
Assist with the import of files into the document management system for incoming attorneys.
Coordinate the transfer of electronic files for departing attorneys.
Assist with the search and collection of data relevant to discovery for Litigation Holds.
Maintain the database information for all employees and their filing status.
Assist with various other document management system support tasks.
Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
Bachelor’s degree required.
1-2 years of relevant technology experience within a professional services environment.
Experience with iManage document import/export tools and processes, and other advanced features and functionality, e.g. folder management, “Re-filing”, etc. desired.
Knowledge of importing/exporting procedures of e-mail, contacts, calendars within Outlook and Exchange using PST files is preferred.
Familiarity with Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013 administration is a plus.
Prior data entry or data reporting experience.
