Christopher E. Jeffers, PhD, a Member of the Intellectual Property practice of Mintz, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is moderating a panel at the ALM Pharma and IP Legal Summit. The event is taking place December 7 at the Westin Morristown in Morristown, NJ.
The panelists will discuss IP portfolio management and patent lifecycle management, explore the pros and cons of licensing agreements, patent aggregation, and how to strengthen portfolios through strategic prosecution. Joining Dr. Jeffers on the panel will be Thomas Poche, Vice President and Associate General Counsel (IP) of Allergan, and Joshua Marcus Ph.D., Director and IP Counsel of Insmed Incorporated.

Dr. Jeffers represents clients in the life sciences and medical device industries in all areas of intellectual property, with a particular emphasis in complex corporate and commercial transactions involving intellectual property. He also has extensive experience handling technology transfer matters involving universities and government laboratories. In addition, Mr. Jeffers regularly performs technical and legal due diligence in support of venture capital investments and mergers and acquisitions. His fundraising experience includes venture capital, private equity, and debt investments.
